Hydration and hydrolysis of cement produce hydrated compounds, which further trigger ion exchange, pozzolanic reaction and hardening with soft soil, forming high-strength composite foundation. The reinforcement depth is generally over 5 meters, which effectively improves foundation bearing capacity and reduces settlement.

Classification
Classified by the feeding form of stabilizer, it is divided into two main types for selective application:

（1）Wet Method (Slurry Mixing Method)
Cement is mixed into slurry and injected into the ground for mixing with soft soil. The maximum reinforcement depth is 20m. It adapts to most soft soil strata and is the most commonly used method.

（2）Dry Method (Dry Jet Mixing Method)
Cement powder is directly jetted into the ground for mixing. The maximum reinforcement depth is 15m. It is suitable for soft soil with high water content, requiring no slurry preparation and delivering higher construction efficiency.

Ⅱ. Pre-construction Preparation (Four Key Points)

Adequate pre-construction preparation is critical to quality control and rework prevention. The work focuses on site, equipment, materials and trial piles.

（1）Site Preparation
Level the site to the designed elevation, and remove surface debris and underground obstacles. The cement mixing ratio shall be above 12%. Admixtures shall be added as designed and pass inspection.

（4）Process Trial Piles (Mandatory Requirement)
Trial piles (no less than 3 piles) shall be constructed under supervisor supervision before formal operation.
